Miao Wei, the Minister of Industry and Information Technology indicated said at the conference that, driven by the policy of promoting car consumption, car production and sales increased by 2.3% and 4.4% respectively in April, and the sales achieved positive growth for the first time after falling for 21 consecutive months.
