The Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration have decided to carry out demonstration and application of fuel cell vehicles in order to promote the sustained, healthy, scientific and orderly development of fuel cell automobile industry in China. On September 16, the Notice on Developing Demonstration Applications of Fuel Cell Vehicles was jointly issued, clearly stipulating that the five departments will adjust the subsidy policy for the purchase of fuel cell vehicles to the support policy for the demonstration application of fuel cell vehicles, and reward eligible urban agglomerations to carry out industrialization research and demonstration application of key core technologies of fuel cell vehicles, so as to form a new development model of fuel cell vehicles with reasonable layout, different priorities and collaborative promotion.
