Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has made a reply to the Suggestions on Studying and Formulating a Schedule for Banning Fuel Vehicles and Speeding up the Construction of an Automobile Power. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology clearly pointed out that China would support qualified places to build the pilot fuel vehicle no-go zone, plan as a whole, study and formulate a schedule for the exit of fuel vehicles based on successful experience.

At present, more than 10 countries and regions in the world have released the schedule to ban the sale of fuel vehicles. Among them, the Netherlands and Norway said that by 2025, they would completely ban the sale of fuel vehicles. France and Britain are also expected to realize a comprehensive ban on sale of fuel vehicles by 2040.  China’s Hainan Province also issued a Plan for the Development of Clean Energy Vehicles in Hainan Province on March and put forward the time of banning the sale of fuel vehicles after 2030. It become the first province in China to issue a clear schedule for a comprehensive ban on sale of fuel vehicles. According to insiders, there is no doubt that the reply of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will promote more qualified provinces and cities to release the schedule for a ban on sale of fuel vehicles.
