Three National Departments Jointly Issued the "Guidelines for the Construction of the National Telematics Industry Standard System (Intelligent Vehicle Management)"

According to the information from official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, three national departments, i.e. the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security and the Standardization Administration of China, have jointly announced a notice on the issuance of the "Guidelines for the Construction of the National Telematics Industry Standard System (Intelligent Vehicle Management)".


It is indicated in the notice that the basic technical research will be completed and more than 20 major standards will be formulated and revised in the fields of connected vehicle service registration and management, identity authentication and safety by the end of 2022, to provide support for road testing and city-level verification and demonstration of the connected vehicle service under the connected vehicle environment; and that a standard system capable of supporting intelligent management of vehicles under the connected vehicle environment will be established by 2025, and more than 60 major standards will be formulated and revised in business fields such as road traffic operation management, vehicle infrastructure cooperation management and service.
