Cai Ronghua, the Deputy Director of the Industrial Development Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, said at the Press Conference of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council that the state would continue to strengthen the construction of charging infrastructure in order to promote the development of new energy vehicles. It was estimated that the RMB 10 billion yuan would be invested for construction of charging infrastructure in this year, to additionally build up about 200,000 public charging piles, 400,000 private charging piles and 48,000 public charging stations.
