Recently, the 2020 Science and Technology Award of China Intelligent Transportation Systems Association was issued at the 15th ITS China themed by "ITS Innovative and Integrated Development in the New Infrastructure Period", which was held in Shenzhen. The project "Development and Application of Cloud Model Technologies in Rapid Response to Traffic Demand Forecast for Accurate Governance", which was jointly carried out by Beijing NavInfo Co., Ltd., Urban Transportation Research Branch of China Academy of Urban Planning and Design, Putian Natural Resources Bureau and Traffic Police Detachment Command Center of Qingdao Public Security Bureau, won the second prize of Science and Technology of China Intelligent Transportation Systems Association in 2020 in its first appearance in the awarding event.
Aiming at the fields of urban traffic planning and construction management, this research innovatively integrates big data, cloud computing and traffic model technologies together, and constructs a new generation of traffic cloud model with completely independent intellectual property rights. The research has gained a comprehensive technical achievement involving "one platform, one technical system and six key technologies", namely, one rapid response transportation cloud model system platform, one platform technology system of "data aggregation + feature analysis + model interconnection", and six key technological innovations. It realized multi-source data aggregation, dynamic perception and accurate deduction covering individual activities, roads, public transportation and land planning, and built up an integrated service technology system from big data analysis to rapid decision-making assistance, which effectively supported decision making and delicacy management and control associated to urban traffic planning.
