Forum on Creating a New Life for Mobility -- NavInfo Plans with Industries for Future-Oriented Map Service

Recently, a summit forum on "creating a new life for mobility-car +5G, smart interconnection" was held in Guangxi province. Meng Qingxin, SVP of NavInfo, was invited to participate in the conference and shared the thoughts of NavInfo on the transformation of the automobile industry in the 5G era with the theme of "future-oriented mobility map service". 


Meng Qingxin said that the advent of the 5G era and the rapid commercialization of automated driving would tremendously boost the development of the map industry in the next decade. Firstly, for automated driving, HAD Map and the environment of simulation and verification are important opportunities for development. Secondly, the government and enterprises will become important application scenarios for the development of 5G and HAD Map centering on the map information perception, reconstruction and decision-making. With the improvement of 5G infrastructure, maps will gain strong momentum of development in the future mobility industry.
